About
I’m a native of Nashville,TN. Photography has been a passion of mine for 5 years, and it all started by looking at the images from WWII, mostly the Holocaust. It was the emotions that the image captured and relayed to me 60+ years later. On the opposite side, Ansel Adams was my first favorite photographer because of the amazing beauty he captured of America’s landscapes. The spark caught me, and here I am today. I absolutely love the passion for photography that I feel God has blessed me with!
My portfolio mainly consists of portraiture, but you’ll see I shoot much more than that. A person makes a photo more interesting because you know they have a story to tell. I feel like when I take a photo of someone I’m capturing just one excerpt in their story. Can I capture you in a moment in time?
Fun Fact:
Few people have guessed the meaning of the name Port Wine Photography—I assure you it has nothing to do with wine. I was born with a birthmark that covers a significant portion of my body. In layman’s terms, the birthmark is called a Port Wine Stain.
